Connectors

Meshblu Connectors create a bridge for devices that cannot connect to Meshblu directly. They are cross-platform, signed, pre-compiled, and pre-configured for each device and can be downloaded from the Connector Factory.

Connectors can connect USB, Serial, LAN, or other non-internet enabled devices to the Octoblu Platform.

Example

A legacy Industrial Controller is only accessible via RS-232 Serial connection. It cannot be connected directly to Meshblu, so a Connector is used to assist in bi-directional communication with the controller and the rest of the Octoblu platform. This would allow a flow to receive a message from the controller, make a decision, and send the response back to the controller to take action.
